red gallows from

Franzedas valley

A trip through the wild and little frequented side valleys of the upper Val Pettorina where, thanks to the exposure and the morphology of the peaks, dust is at home!

We will climb together along this incredible enchanted valley, initially crossing larch woods, until we reach wide slopes, and forks that, on the descent, will give us great satisfaction for freeride curves or serpentines on almost always powdery snow!

Where do we start from?

Near the town of Sottoguda (Rocca Pietore - Bl).

How long will it take?

The exit foresees a total time of about 5-6 hours.

What difficulty will the exit have?

The overall difference in height of about 1,000 meters and the slopes never exceeding 35 degrees are suitable for trained people who already know how to ski safely outside the controlled areas of the slopes and therefore suitable for a good skier mountaineer (BSA).

What material will I need to have with me?

Mountaineering skis, sticks, boots, skins, artva, shovel, probe, as well as suitable clothing and personal food. It is possible to rent all the equipment upon notice to the Alpine Guide.

How much?

80 € per person (min.3 people).

Period?

From December to April.
